Bill Strand

Bill Strand founded Asset Strategy Consultants in 1995. He has spent the last 20 years honing his wealth management skills and enjoys using this knowledge to help clients make smart decisions about their money. Bill's special expertise is in the unique needs of medical doctors. He is passionate about helping clients build wealth that is independent of their medical practices.

A Twin Cities native, Bill holds a BA from St. Olaf College and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. Bill and his wife of 17 years, Jeanne, live on a small farm northwest of Princeton, Minnesota.

Anita Edlund Kalafut

Anita Edlund Kalafut has been advising clients on a variety of wealth management issues for nearly 15 years. Clients have learned to rely on her broad knowledge for help with virtually any wealth management issue. Anita has particular expertise in retirement strategies for the affluent.

Anita holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Metropolitan State University. She has also earned the professional designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.

Anita grew up in Bemidji, Minnesota. She currently resides in Coon Rapids with her husband, Troy, and daughter, Kate.

Kris Bentzen

Kris Bentzen's official title is client service manager, but she is frequently referred to as Asset Strategy Consultants' concierge. As the first point of contact for clients, Kris handles all day-to-day needs for the firm and our clients. She has specialized in client services for nearly 15 years, all of them at Asset Strategy Consultants.

Kris earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Metropolitan State University. She has also earned the designation of Financial Paraplanner and is currently studying for certification as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.

A native of Brooklyn Park, Kris now lives in Elk River with her husband, Andy, and their four-year old son, Drew.
